Well, the first thing is that both rendering engines are added to the Sketchup software as plugins.

Both have the same algorithm, the Monte Carlo algorithm.

It means that they have the same calculations and coding.

These calculations are done by your computer’s CPU.

And both rendering engines work with the weakest computers.

The main difference between these two rendering engines is their features.

Vray has more features than Thea Render.
